Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 10g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen, expels Wind-Dampness and clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
With Huang Bai, for skin lesions due to Wind-Dampness.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 10g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao, drains Deficiency Fire, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
Hb. Lycopi Lucidi Ze Lan 10g Invigorates the Blood, regulates menstruation, dispels Blood Stasis, promotes urination and disperses swellings.
With Dan Shen, for swelling and pain due to trauma.
Scl. Polypori Zhu Ling 10g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness and dispels Heat.
Rz. Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Bei Xie 15g Separates the pure from the turbid, resolves turbid Dampness in the Lower Jiao, expels Wind-Dampness and clears Damp-Heat from the skin.

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Dark red lesions of uneven size
  • The lesions are covered by greasy or thick crusty scales
  • The skin below scales may be moist or show weeping exudate
  • Pustules may be present
  • Pustules are usually on palms, soles of the feet, trunk, extremities and skin folds
  • Worse with humidity
  • Chest oppression
  • Poor appetite
  • Heaviness of the lower extremities
