With Huang Qin and Zhi Ban Xia, for Summer Damp-Heat.
Talcum Hua Shi 12-15g Promotes urination, drains Heat from Bladder, releases Summerheat and expels Damp-Heat.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 12-15g Calms Liver Yang, nourishes Blood, astringes Yin and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu, for flank pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 10-12g Resolves the Shao Yang, disperses Wind-Heat, reduces fever, spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation, raises Yang and resolves Phlegm.
With Huang Qin, restores the normal functioning of Liver and Gallbladder and releases Shao Yang Heat.
With Huang Qin and Zhi Ban Xia, for Shao Yang disorders with alternating chills and fever and a sensation of fullness in the hypochondria and chest.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 10-12g Calms Liver Yang, drains Fire, and dries Dampness.

Succus Bambusae Zhu Li 10-12g Clears Heat and transforms Phlegm, for paralysis of the extremities.
Caulis Akebiae Mu Tong 10-12g Promotes urination, drains Heart Fire through the Small Intestine and unblocks blood vessels.
Poriae Fu Ling 10-12g Promotes urination, resolves Dampness, tonifies Spleen, harmonizes the Middle Jiao, transforms Phlegm, calms the Heart and Spirit and soothes nerves.
With Zhi Ban Xia, expels Phlegm.
