Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat and cools the Blood.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-10g Invigorates the Blood and promotes the movement of Qi.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 3-15g Invigorates and nourishes the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and calms the Spirit.
Hb. Epimedii Yin Yang Huo 3-15g Tonifies the Kidneys and strengthens Yang.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 9-15g Warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, unblocks Yang and transforms Qi and thin mucus, assists the Heart Yang and warms and facilitates the flow of Yang Qi in the chest.
With Dan Shen, for palpitations and chest pain due to Heart Yang Deficiency and subsequent painful obstruction due to Blood Stasis blocking the channels.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dang 6-15g Nourishes Yin, clears the Heart and eliminates irritability.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
