  • Use only for syndromes associated with Damp-Cold.

  • Use caution for those taking insulin, sulfonylureas and other antidiabetics such as tolbutamide (Orinase), glipizide (Glucotrol) and glyburide (DiaBeta/Micronase) as there may be a synergistic effect leading to hypoglycemia.

  2. This herb treats gastralgia, testicular swelling and gynecological stasis and pain.
  3. Both Li Zhi He and Fr. Foeniculi Xiao Hui Xiang treat swelling of the testicles and to Cold-Dampness, lower abdominal masses, prolapse and pain in women, warm the Liver and dispel Lower Jiao Cold to stop pain. Li Zhi He more powerfully dredges Cold from the Liver channel and acts on Qi and Blood. Xiao Hui Xiang also enters the Kidney and Spleen channels to warm the Middle and alleviate nausea and is much more aromatic and warming.
