CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Contraindicated internally during pregnancy or menstruation.
  • Contraindicated for those with bleeding due to Deficiency Heat.
  • Contraindicated for those with Blood Stasis signs or symptoms.

  2. This can be use as a stand-alone herb.
  3. Xue Jie, Olibanum Ru Xiang and Myrrh Mo Yao all promote movement of Blood, stop pain, generate flesh and assist in the healing of sores. Xue Jie enters the Blood Level and is most able to generate flesh, help heal sores and stop bleeding. Ru Xiang and Mo Yao both enter the Qi and Blood levels and are better at transforming Stasis, reducing swelling, and stopping pain and are most appropriate for Qi and Blood Stagnation in the chest and abdomen, pain in the joints due to Wind-Damp Bi and painful, swollen sores.
