  • On the upper abdomen, 5 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline.
  • On the abdomen, 0.5 cun lateral to REN-13 Shangwan.
  • Perpendicular insertion 1-1.5 cun.
  • Caution: Deep needling may penetrate the peritoneal cavity.
  • Straight insertion, 0.7-1 cun.
  • Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
