  • On the flexor aspect of the forearm, 3 cun proximal to PC-7 Daling, between the tendons palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis.
  • In the absence of the tendon of the palmaris longus, locate this point on the ulnar side of the tendon of the flexor carpi radialis.
  • Divide the distance between the cubital crease crease and PC-7 Daling into quarters and locate this point at the junction of the proximal three quarters and the distal quarter.
  • With the hand supine, this point can be found 1 cun above PC-6 Neiguan or three cun above the transverse crease of the wrist between the two tendons.
  • Perpendicular insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun
  • Oblique proximal insertion 1 to 1.5 cun
  • Straight insertion0.5 to 1,5 cun causing local distention and soreness or a numb, distended sensation extending
  • Slanted insertion , in a proximal direction slightly towards the radial side 1.5 to 2 cun for diseases of the trunk. With strong stimulation the needling sensation may extend to the elbow or axilla.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
