Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, and generates fluids.
With Xuan Shen, for Excess or Deficiency Heat patterns.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 25g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and vents and disperses External Wind-Heat.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
Hb. Violae Zi Hua Di Ding 15g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and clears hot sores internally and externally.
Fol. Isatidis Da Qing Ye 15g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity, cools the Blood and dissipates maculae.
With Jin Yin Hua, for Toxic Heat sores, erysipelas, mumps or sore throat.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 10g Clears Heat and cools and invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, reduces swelling from sores and abscesses and relieves pain.
Periostracum Cicadae Chan Tui 3g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, vents rashes and relieves itching.
