Rx. Angelicae Pubescentis Du Huo 3-6g Disperses Wind-Cold-Dampness, releases the exterior and alleviates pain.
With Fang Feng, for numbness in the legs.
Pericarpium Pruni Pseudocerasus Ye Ying Pi 3-6g Relieves toxicity, stops coughing, expels pus and relieves fevers.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 3-6g Releases the exterior, expels External Wind, expels Wind-Dampness, alleviates pain, expels Internal Wind and stops spasms.
With Jing Jie, for Wind-Cold or Exterior patterns in any season.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 3-6g Opens the Lungs, spreads Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, benefits the throat, expels pus and directs the effects of other herbs to the upper body.
With Gan Cao, disseminates Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, resolves toxicity, and expels pus for productive cough with hoarseness, pain and swelling of the throat due to Wind-Heat and Lung abscess with expectoration of pus and pain in the chest and flanks.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-6g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, expels Wind and alleviates pain.
With Fang Feng and Jie Geng, for headache due Wind-Cold Invasion.
Poria Fu Ling 4-8g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, strengthens the Spleen and transforms Phlegm.

With Jie Geng and Gan Cai, for acute cough associated with external disorders.
