Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
With Xuan Shen, and Mai Men Dong, for dry throat, irritability, a red tongue and a fast thready pulse due to Devastated Yin with Blazing Fire, excessive thirst, irritability, and a scarlet tongue due to Ying Stage Heat, swelling of the throat and lymph nodes and constipation due to Excess Heat with Yin Deficiency.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 15g Tonifies Blood and nourishes Yin, Jing and Blood.
With Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for dizziness, palpitations, insomnia, and menstrual dysfunction due to Blood Deficiency.
Tub. Asparagi Tian Men Dong 10g Nourishes Yin, nourishes the Kidneys, clears Lung Heat, moistens the Lungs and generates fluids.
With Mai Men Dong, for dry cough, thirst, and other symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and injured fluids.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 10g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
Rx. Scrophularia Xuan Shen 10g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes Yin.
With Sheng Di Huang and Mai Men Dong, for constipation due to Dryness.
Rx. Polygoni Multiflori He Shou Wu 10g Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, nourishes Blood, nourishes Jing, astringes Jing - stops leakage, relieves Fire Toxin and moistens the Intestines.
Ram. cum Uncis Uncariae Gou Teng 10g Extinguishes Wind, stops spasms, drains Liver Heat and pacifies Liver Yang.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 10g Tonifies Blood, invigorates and harmonizes Blood, disperses Cold and moistens the Intestines.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood.
Rx. Adenophorae/ Glehniae Sha Shen 12g Moistens Lungs, stops cough, nourishes Stomach Yin, generates fluids, clears Heat, and moistens the Exterior.
Rx. Trichosanthis Tian Hua Fen 12g Clears and Drains Lung Heat, moistens Lung Dryness and generates fluids.
With Sha Shen, Mai Men Dong and Sheng Di Huang, for Injured Yin from Stomach Heat with excessive thirst, irritability, Dryness in the mouth, cravings after eating, and emaciation which is often in diabetes.
